Frederick Bunting
Director / Osteopath

Frederick, or Freddy as he is known, after a long ambition
to be an osteopath, studied a combined Bachelor’s and
Masters Degree in Osteopathic Medicine from one of
the top institutions in the UK, The British College of
Osteopathic Medicine in London in 2004. He then
moved back to his home county of Devon in 2009 to
work as a lead associate at the Bidwell Osteopathic
Practice (www.bidwellpractice.co.uk).

Freddy was brought up with horses and
riders in the family so his natural
progression was to use his intensively
trained skill set of observation, touch
and manipulation from human
osteopathic medicine and apply
that to qualify as an equine
osteopath. He has studied
first hand, with the founder
of animal osteopathy Stuart
McGregor, at the renowned
Osteopathic Centre for Animals
in Oxfordshire and gained his Post Graduate Certification
in Equine Osteopathy.

Freddy loves his job with the constant challenges of problem solving
and using his manual skills to get all horses as good as they can be
but when he's not working you can probably find him out with his family,
riding or walking the dogs.

“My duty of care is to the horse and yet it never feels like a duty but a pleasure to be able to work so closely and personally with them.
I get tremendous job satisfaction in seeing and feeling a horse change, as I unlock their pattern and relieve them from pain and restriction.”
